The El Sol CHW/Promotor (CHW/P) Training Center is part of El Sol Neighborhood Educational Center and builds on more than 30 years of community-based practice in Southern California. We provide training, capacity building, and technical assistance rooted in lived experience and popular education, supporting CHW/P career pathways and ongoing growth across the US and worldwide.

CHW/P Training & Education
Interactive trainings and certification pathways designed for CHW/Ps, Promotores, and community-based staff. Our learning experiences are grounded in real-world practice, cultural relevance, and community leadership.
Technical Assistance & Capacity Building
Customized support for organizations seeking to design, strengthen, or integrate CHW/P programs. This includes workforce development, program design, and support for sustainable implementation.
CHW Learning Hub
A digital platform developed by the El Sol Training Center. The Hub offers learning content, tools, and materials that support CHW/P development, leadership, community education, and integration into teams and systems.
Workforce Development & CHW/P Integration
We support organizations to successfully adopt and strengthen the CHW/P model—from organizational readiness to hiring, onboarding, and training.
